Sorry to just be posting -- Missed last month but all is still great :)
So let's see where to begin. June was a whirlwind of a month and July hasn't been much slower. We've been busy but it's all been good stuff.
We did have to break down and buy new living room furniture after I broke a table moving it so that has now arrived and I love our tables. This is the first time we've bought living room furniture since getting married so I guess it was time.
I haven't been able to craft anything this month but I did make a July 4th wreath last month. I've just been too wrapped up in my genealogy research to think about sewing. Although I found a new thing I want to try out :D excited to try it.
On the home front, I am super excited that Chris will be changing territories so he will be home a lot more. Robert is now getting old enough to notice when Daddy isn't here :( it breaks my heart when he goes looking for Daddy and can't find him.
We did end this month with a lovely leak in our laundry room -- luckily the property management group came out and fixed it -- no cost to us!! Evidently the plumber never saundered the pipe correctly when the house was built -- how that happens I have no idea, but it did happen to us.
My favorite part of the months have got to be our debt-free journey! So far we've paid off a boat-load of debt, we are no where close to being debt-free but we are making progress. Sad note though - since we had to buy new furniture we dipped into our ER fund, so we are now back at step 1 to rebuild the ER fund and then we will hit step 2 and get that snowball rolling again. I did hear on Dave Ramsey's show Friday that there was a family who started owing $200K and paid everything off in 4 years! Wow! This family's debt was mostly credit card debt - which I can't imagine that. I'm so glad that we're teaching Robert how to manage life without debt so that he won't have to deal with this junk one day.
