Summer Catch up

Just returning from a family vacation and catching up.

We went to Iowa to visit family and friends. Took Robert to his first Iowa State football game -- which they won!!!!
We rode a train and went to a farm where we rode a combine and checked out the beans and corn.

So glad to be home though :)

Now we are starting a new school year, Robert is moving class rooms and mom is taking a Federal Income Tax and another Stats class at Texas A&M - Commerce.

On the home front, we are hitting the potty training super strict this month. WE WILL MASTER THE TOILET!!!!!

We are still working our debt snowball -- slow and steady but we are getting there. Of course, Murphy is having to visit us anytime we make a lot of progress but that's what emergency funds are for. Murphy never stays long and he doesn't disrupt us too much - maybe an hour until the Budget Super Hero comes along to save the day and kick Murphy out of the house.

Genelogy -- still working on an updated book, new records were released so there is new information out there.

Quilting -- working on a t-shirt quilt for my cousin, there is a lot of shirts and when finished it will be a queen size quilt. I did learn a new technique that I think I will try.

Back to life -- will try to keep updates going. May need to add that to my calendar...
