March Appointment #2

Went back for my follow-up appointment. The 3-hour Glucose test & starting my biweekly check-ups. Yeah!!

I spent forever at the office waiting for my time to be up!!! Hopefully, I pass this test. Odds are in my favor that I will. [There is a 1 in 10 chance of failing the test a second time.] I won't know anything until Monday so I will try to be calm and anxiety-free until then.

Baby's heart rate was 142-145 bpm. Luckily, I didn't gain any cm this visit -- still measuring at 30 cm. Weight?? That's another story -- but I'm glad there is a reason, otherwise we'd be seriously dieting!! Hopefully, all the weight I have gained will be lost with Robert's birth. Maybe that's wishful thinking but all the weight is just in my tummy so we shall see. My next appointment is the first week of April, when I'll be tested for Staph B -- joys of maternity-hood?!

We've been going to our childbirth class -- half way done! -- they have been . . . educational. Some people's ideas of birth are way different, but not having experienced it before how do I know ;)
I'm glad we've invested the time & money, since it has definitely given us some things to think about & discuss before we get hit with them. We will see what next week brings.
